Automation
Scheduled and recurring messages, sticky messages, custom commands, statistics channels, rules and temporary roles. Off by default.
The Automation module is off by default. Enable it with /config module-enable automation or on the dashboard's Modules page.
What it includes#
Scheduled messages: send a message once or repeat it daily, weekly or monthly in a channel (
/schedule create).Sticky messages: a message that stays at the bottom of a channel (
/sticky set).Custom commands: simple commands that reply with text you define (
/custom add).Statistics channels: channels whose name shows a live figure such as the member count (
/stats add).Rules: automatic threads, reactions, and actions on join or role changes.
Temporary roles and channel restrictions: a role or restriction that ends by itself (
/temprole add).
When the module is off#
While Automation is off, its commands are refused, scheduled messages and sticky refreshes wait, and rules and statistics do nothing. Taking a temporary role away again, lifting a channel restriction and repairing lost jobs keep running, so nothing stays stuck. Everything you configured is kept.
