Logs and audit
Server logging channels, the configuration audit trail and the usage analytics in the dashboard.
Logging#
The Logging module posts events (server, member, message and Aurora events) to channels you choose, grouped in categories. Set a category's channel on the dashboard's Logging page or with /config logging-set, see where each category goes with /config logging-status and post a test message with /config logging-test.
Message text can appear in a log embed only if Discord's Message Content intent is enabled for Aurora and the message was still in memory. Message text is never written to the database. Credential-shaped text in logs is replaced by the kind of secret found.
The audit trail#
Every configuration change is recorded with:
what changed (before and after values for the fields concerned),
who changed it (the member), and
where it came from:
BOTfor Discord commands, jobs and events, orDASHBOARD.
Open Audit in the dashboard, or run /config audit in Discord. Sensitive values are redacted. Bot Control records metadata only, never the message text.
Analytics#
The dashboard shows command usage over time so you can see what your members use.
